i9 Sports Greater Phoenix is hiring Flag Football Instructors/Officials

 i9 Sports of Greater Phoenix (www.i9sports.com) is looking for an energetic, personable, and hardworking Football Instructors/Officials. As an i9 Flag Football Instructor/Official, you will be a key person in fulfilling our goal: "Helping Kids Succeed in Life through Sports". Our Flag Football Instructors should have coaching experience, as well as experience working with kids. The i9 Sports league focuses on building fundamentals and learning the game in the most enjoyable way possible - creating a safe and fun environment for all participants. The position is needed for Saturdays and/or Sundays during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer Seasons for up to 4 -6 hours depending on the number of registrants. The Flag Football instructor will create and facilitate weekly practice plans and officiate games for all age groups (3-14). 

 The compensation for this position is based on experience. This is a part-time position on either Saturday and/or Sundays. Hours will vary depending on the location.

 Duties/Responsibilities for a Flag Football Instructor:

• Assist with the set-up/take-down of the fields at the venue (laying out cones, setting up field)
• Organize, plan and run practices/games for a specific team and/or group of players
• Communicate weekly with volunteer coaches, participants, and league owners
• Assist with the officiating/coaching of the games
• Teach both skills and sportsmanship values while assuring a fun program for participants
• Work with Assistant Coaches on drills

Requirements:

• Must be reliable, professional and responsive.
• Must be Outgoing, Friendly, Energetic and Enthusiastic
• Must be Warm, Empathetic, Patient and Consistent
• Must have in-depth knowledge of Football and have coached for a minimum of 1 year
• Must have superior customer service skills
• Must have reliable transportation and cell phone & web/email access
• The candidate will need to pass a Background Check
• Must be willing to work in Glendale, North Phoenix, North Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Paradise Valley, Laveen or Avondale
