Flagger (Traffic Control)

TempExperts is seeking a Flagger in Pompano Beach, FL for an opportunity supporting traffic control and roadway safety operations. This role is ideal for individuals who are safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working outdoors.
Responsibilities:
- Direct traffic flow safely around construction or work zones.
- Use hand signals, signs, and communication devices to control vehicle and pedestrian movement.
- Set up and remove traffic cones, signs, and barricades as needed.
- Communicate clearly with team members and site supervisors.
- Monitor traffic conditions and adjust directions to maintain safety.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Report any incidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions immediately.
Requirements/Education:
- Previous flagging or traffic control experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid flagger certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain).
