Position Overview

This position will primarily be responsible for controlling the safe flow of traffic through active construction project work zones. Use a variety of tools such as a stop/start paddle, pilot car, and signage. Individuals will be dispatched to various project locations throughout Northern Minnesota and North Dakota. A lodging per diem is available when working out of town.

This is a seasonal position that generally requires travel through Northern Minnesota and North Dakota with other work locations as assigned. Lodging assistance is provided generally in the form of a per diem.

Minimum Qualifications

A successful Flagger for Knife River Materials will have:

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Critical thinking skills.
• A valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.

Compensation

• Base Training Wage: $17.50/Hour
• Estimated Project Wages: $24.00/Hour - $27.65/Hour
