POSITION: Flaggers DUTIES: - Will direct traffic on US highways while highway department completes work. - May lift up to 30-50 pound occasionally while placing or carry equipment pertaining to traffic control. - Work is performed outside in various types of weather conditions. REQUIREMENTS: - Be able to pass initial and random drug tests. - Have current driver's license and Flaggers Certification. - Applicants without Flaggers Certification may be tested and receive certification. - Applicants must be able to stand for long periods of time in various types of weather conditions. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Flagger Certification - Agility to move away from oncoming vehicles PREFERRED SKILLS: - Taking direction - Standing for long periods of time - Be alert WAGE: - $16.00/Hr. Paid weekly. Plenty of overtime available at $24/hr!!! - 30-50 hours per week as some Saturdays are scheduled. - Work in all-weather elements. - Transportation available to worksites from designated meeting points. JOB SITE: Salida and Buena Vista, CO. BENEFITS: - Sick pay begins immediately - Holidays pay after six months - Vacation after one (1) year.
