What youll tackle

• Screed concrete with wooden and aluminum tools to tight tolerances.
• Use floats, trowels, edgers, and brooms to achieve specified finishes.
• Build and align forms for sidewalks, curbs/gutters, walls, pillars, and more.
• Strip and clean forms correctly for reuse.
• Evaluate slump, calculate quantities, and coordinate orders.
• Place rebar or wire mesh and install expansion joints.
• Perform saw cutting on both concrete and asphalt.
• Execute strenuous tasks: shoveling, raking, lifting, and site housekeeping.
• Contribute to heavy highway and other construction projects.
• Enforce safe work practices; select proper tools and equipment for each operation.
• Wear PPE at all times and follow all policies.
• Drive trucks or other moving equipment when required.
• Take on other assigned duties as project needs evolve.

What makes you successful here

• 2+ years in general construction.
• 3+ years in concrete placement and finishing.
• Deep familiarity with construction methods, equipment, and OSHA requirements.
• Strong safety mindset and history of following OSHA standards.
• Collaborative attitude; willing to jump in and help the team.
• Valid drivers license with an acceptable record per company criteria.
• Comfort taking direction and following written/oral instructions from supervisors and managers.
