We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Sanitation Technician to support vehicle cleaning and servicing operations at a large, secure UPS Worldport facility. This role is responsible for maintaining fleet cleanliness and operational readiness using both manual and equipment-based cleaning methods. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, follows established procedures, and prioritizes safety and quality in all tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred

  • Previous cleaning, detailing, or janitorial experience
  • 1+ year of experience in a similar role or environment
  • Experience with pressure washing equipment
  • Experience operating or driving trailers
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Execute all assigned tasks in accordance with the ABM program and established procedures
  • Clean, wash, and detail fleet vehicles using manual methods, pressure washers, and industrial cleaning equipment
  • Disassemble, clean/sanitize, and reassemble equipment as required
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and perform periodic deep-cleaning tasks
  • Follow the Master Cleaning Schedule to ensure all required tasks are completed accurately and on time
  • Operate electronic devices such as company-issued cell phones and tablets to track work and communicate updates
  • Identify and promptly report equipment malfunctions or operational concerns to leadership
  • Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, including confined space procedures where applicable
  • Work effectively in indoor and outdoor environments under varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, wet conditions)
  • Perform physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, and reaching overhead
  • Promote a culture of safety by always following all job-specific and general safety procedures
  • Complete job assignments efficiently while minimizing risk to self and others
  • Maintain reliable attendance, punctuality, and readiness to work scheduled shifts
  • Demonstrate flexibility to support varying work schedules based on operational needs
