Monday–Friday | 7:00 PM – 3:30 AM
Weekend work may be required

Job Summary

LJ's Cleaning Solutions is seeking an experienced Fleet Detailer Assistant Supervisor to support daily fleet cleaning operations for city buses. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for assisting with team supervision, quality inspections, employee training, and ensuring buses are properly cleaned and ready for service.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor with daily fleet detailing operations

• Assign tasks and help oversee the fleet detailing team

• Monitor employee attendance, clock-ins, breaks, and productivity

• Perform quality inspections on completed buses

• Clean and detail the interior and exterior of city buses

• Sweep, mop, sanitize, clean windows, and remove trash

• Train and support new and existing employees

• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and PPE

• Communicate with supervisors, management, and team members

• Assist with resolving daily operational or employee concerns

• Ensure OSHA and company safety procedures are followed

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Resume required for consideration

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum 2 years of fleet detailing or vehicle cleaning experience preferred

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Ability to pass a criminal background check and E-Verify

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing steps

• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces

• Ability to lift and move 30–40 lbs

• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to safely wear required PPE
