Garage/ Fleet Mechanics focus on maintaining and repairing vehicles within our fleet. Ensuring the operational readiness, safety, and reliability of the fleet by conducting routine inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing necessary repairs.
There are (2) positions available:
2nd shift.
Shifts are 9-11 hours daily, and the schedule is Monday through Friday with an 'on-call' rotation (approx. every 6 weeks) for weekends.
Pay is based on experience and is determined after interview.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Performs basic inspections, preventative and intermediate maintenance, and basic repairs to all corporate fleet including automobiles, pick-up trucks, semi trucks, as well as trailer maintenance.
Utilizes the Fleet Maintenance software system program to construct/complete work orders and order needed parts for repairs.
Maintain shop cleanliness and organization.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Mechanic Tools and Toolbox.
1 - 3 years relevant work experience with Diesel engines, DEF, and trailer repair. Welding and fabrication is a bonus.
Basic computer competency.
Must possess a valid Driver’s license and have no restrictions.
