POSITION: FLEET LABORER

COMANCO is seeking a dedicated and adaptable Fleet Laborer to join our team. This position offers a unique blend of physically demanding tasks with administrative duties, making it ideal for individuals who are both hands-on and computer savvy.

As a Fleet Laborer, your primary responsibilities will include maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, yard, and storage areas.

• Using technology, you will conduct thorough inspections of incoming equipment and promptly complete Equipment Inspection Reports.
• Upon vehicles and equipment arriving at the shop, you'll perform tasks such as pressure washing, vacuuming, and interior cleaning.
• Additionally, you'll load and unload job trailers, and assist technicians with servicing and troubleshooting.
• You will play a key role assembling and repairing inventory items, building and wrapping extension cords, and transporting small equipment, tools, and materials to job sites as directed.
• At the end of each day, responsibilities include emptying garbage cans, and performing yard work such as mowing, edging, and trimming.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is from moderate to high. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and vibration.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Computer Skills such as checking e-mails and data entry - Prior Experience using an iPad is strongly preferred. An administrative test will be part of the interview process to assess computer literacy.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment.
• Willingness to work in a Shop environment and outdoors in various weather conditions.
