Part-Time Contract | 5–10 Hours per Week | Remote/Flexible

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations for a fleet of semi-trucks. This role is responsible for scheduling preventative maintenance and inspections, managing vendor relationships, comparing maintenance programs, tracking costs and performance, and providing regular reporting to management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate preventative maintenance and inspection schedules for semi-trucks.

  • Manage relationships with maintenance vendors, dealerships, and repair facilities.

  • Compare maintenance programs, warranties, and service agreements to identify cost-effective solutions.

  • Track maintenance records, costs, downtime, and compliance documentation.

  • Prepare reports and recommendations to improve fleet reliability and reduce expenses.

Qualifications

  • Experience with fleet, trucking, heavy equipment, or transportation maintenance coordination.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.

  • Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA maintenance requirements is preferred.

Compensation

  • Independent contractor position.

  • Flexible schedule, approximately 5–10 hours per week.

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.
