    Fleet Maintenance Mechanic

    Setting/Hours: On-site | Full-time

    Join trak group in partnering with a growing client in Cincinnati, Ohio that’s expanding its Manufacturing team. 
    Position Summary
    We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of vehicles to ensure safe, reliable operation. This hands-on role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting vehicle issues and is looking to expand their skills through paid CDL training. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to keeping fleet vehicles operating at peak performance.
    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and routine inspections.

    • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles.

    • Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.

    • Complete repairs efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.

    • Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.

    • Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems.

    • Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.

    • Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    • Work independently to prioritize daily maintenance and repair activities.

    • Participate in paid CDL training after hire and maintain required certifications.
    Qualifications

    • Vocational or technical training in automotive repair, diesel technology, or a related field.

    • Experience performing basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs.

    • Knowledge of brake systems, oil changes, tire service, and preventative maintenance.

    • Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.

    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

    • CDL certification is a plus but not required;paid training will be provided after hire.
