Ingredients Plus is a technology-driven ingredient solutions provider serving the food and beverage industry. We operate a private fleet of CDL-A tractors, tanker trailers, dry bulk pneumatic trailers, dry van trailers, and support equipment. Our in-house maintenance team plays a critical role in keeping our operation running safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Our technicians work on a diverse mix of equipment and systems, including Kenworth and Mack tractors, diesel engines, air brake systems, steering and suspension components, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, DPF and aftertreatment systems, and trailer equipment. This position plays a key role in supporting safe, reliable, and efficient fleet operations through quality maintenance, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs.
We are hiring across multiple technician levels and welcome applicants with a range of fleet maintenance experience. Placement within Technician I, II, or III will be based on experience, technical ability, certifications, and demonstrated proficiency.

Technician Levels
Fleet Technician I
Performs preventative maintenance, inspections, routine repairs, and basic diagnostics on tractors, trailers, and fleet equipment with guidance as needed. Typical work includes PM services, tire work, basic brake repairs, lighting and electrical repairs, component replacement, and assisting with diagnostics and repairs.
Fleet Technician II
Independently performs diagnostics, inspections, and repairs on air brake, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, engine, and trailer systems. Technicians at this level are capable of troubleshooting common truck and trailer issues, performing state inspections, completing repairs with limited supervision, and responding to road service calls.
Fleet Technician III
Serves as a senior technician responsible for advanced diagnostics, major component repairs, complex troubleshooting, and technical support within the shop. Typical work includes engine performance diagnostics, aftertreatment and electrical system troubleshooting, major component replacement, and providing guidance on complex repairs.
