We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fleet Maintenance Technician to help inspect, maintain, and repair our growing fleet while minimizing downtime and supporting daily operations.

Your Role as a Fleet Maintenance Technician
As a Fleet Maintenance Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our fleet. Your expertise will help keep vehicles operating smoothly and support the transportation services our communities depend on every day.
Key Responsibilities of a Fleet Maintenance Technician:
Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service on fleet vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
- Inspect vehicles to ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards
- Repair and replace components including brakes, suspension systems, steering components, engines, transmissions, and electrical systems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently
- Complete repairs accurately and in a timely manner to reduce vehicle downtime
Fleet Operations Support
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete work orders thoroughly
- Work closely with maintenance team members to prioritize repairs and service needs
- Support fleet availability through proactive maintenance and preventative care
- Assist with identifying recurring vehicle issues and recommending solutions
- Help ensure all vehicles remain road-ready and customer-safe
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety procedures and shop policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Ensure repairs meet quality standards and manufacturer specifications
- Support compliance with local, state, and company vehicle requirements
What We're Looking for as a Fleet Maintenance Technician:
- Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician, Automotive Technician, Fleet Technician, Diesel Mechanic, or related role preferred
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures
- Experience working with fleet, commercial, or transportation vehicles is a plus
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, motivated, and safety-focused
- Valid driver's license required
- ASE certifications are a plus but not required
