zTrip is one of North America's leading transportation providers, safely transporting thousands of passengers every day. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Fleet Maintenance Technician to help maintain the performance, safety, and reliability of our taxi fleet.
In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, servicing, diagnosing, and repairing fleet vehicles to ensure they remain road-ready and operating at peak performance. Your expertise will directly support our drivers, passengers, and daily operations.
What You'll Do as a Fleet Maintenance Technician
Fleet Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire services, brake inspections, fluid checks, and routine vehicle servicing
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues
- Troubleshoot vehicle performance concerns and complete repairs efficiently
- Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Identify potential maintenance issues before they lead to costly repairs or downtime
- Maintain fleet vehicles according to company standards and manufacturer recommendations
Fleet Operations Support
- Maintain accurate maintenance, repair, and service records
- Ensure all vehicles meet safety, regulatory, and operational requirements
- Work closely with operations teams to prioritize repairs and maximize vehicle availability
- Help minimize fleet downtime through timely maintenance and repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist in preparing vehicles for daily service and driver use
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Fleet Mechanic, Fleet Maintenance Technician, Automotive Technician, Diesel Technician, or similar role
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, maintenance, and repair procedures
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems effectively
- Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and dependable
- Valid driver's license required
- ASE certifications are preferred but not required
