Fleet Manager (Rochester, NY)

 Greenlight Networks is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring efficient maintenance, compliance, and cost-effective operations.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies and policies to optimize the utilization of company vehicles.
• Monitor and maintain the fleet inventory, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manages, purchasing, insurance, and related record keeping for fleet vehicles.
• Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective services.
• Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and driver behavior, and provide regular reports to management.
• Prepare financial and forecasting needs for fleet and present to leadership and investment teams.

• Ability to Travel to all company markets along the Northeast.
• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and the ability to maintain insurability under the company's auto policy are essential.

Educaton and Experience 

• Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of experience.
• Proficient in using fleet management software, databases, and other relevant tools.
• Proficiency with Excel/Word/Powerpoint.

Compensation:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay range for this position is $73,000 - $95,000. The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
