Now hiring for a Fleet Supervisor

Pay Rate: $65,000-$75,000 annually

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday (hours may vary based on operational needs)

Travel: Approximately 30% travel between Florida and Georgia locations

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Fleet Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Additional training in fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, safety, or compliance is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fleet management, transportation, vehicle maintenance, or a related field.
• Previous Fleet Supervisor or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience managing a fleet of 65+ vehicles and equipment strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Florida and Georgia DOT regulations, fleet safety, and transportation compliance.
• Understanding of preventative maintenance programs and basic vehicle mechanics.
• Clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and fleet management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to work in both office and fleet yard environments.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and inspect vehicles and equipment throughout the workday.
• Ability to travel approximately 30% between company locations.
• Ability to work around vehicles, maintenance facilities, and equipment safely.
• Ability to respond to operational issues and varying work schedules as needed.

Job Duties

• Oversee daily fleet operations, safety programs, and regulatory compliance for a fleet of 65-70 vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and emergency service needs.
• Manage vendor relationships, including repair facilities, fuel providers, insurance carriers, and fleet service providers.
• Monitor fleet expenses, maintenance schedules, vehicle performance, and operational efficiency.
• Assist with vehicle purchasing, leasing, licensing, registration, and replacement planning.
• Ensure compliance with Florida and Georgia DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Oversee driver training programs, GPS systems, in-cab cameras, and vehicle inspection processes.
• Maintain fleet records, prepare operational reports, and support budgeting activities.
• Assist with accident investigations, insurance claims, and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve fleet performance.
