We're currently seeking an experienced and motivated Fleet Technician to join our maintenance department. What You'll Do as a Fleet Technician:

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative service on company vehicles.
• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete oil changes, tire services, fluid checks, filter replacements, and other scheduled maintenance tasks.
• Ensure vehicles meet company safety and operational standards before returning them to service.
• Help maximize vehicle uptime through proactive maintenance practices.

Diagnostics & Repair

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and performance-related issues.
• Repair or replace vehicle components including brakes, suspension systems, steering components, batteries, cooling systems, and other critical parts.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and testing procedures to accurately identify vehicle concerns.
• Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Verify repairs through testing and inspection before releasing vehicles back into operation.

Fleet Reliability & Performance

• Work closely with the operations team to prioritize repairs and support fleet availability.
• Identify potential mechanical failures before they become major issues.
• Support fleet performance goals by minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, reliability, and cost-effective repairs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the maintenance department.

Shop Operations

• Complete repair orders, work logs, and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist with inventory management and parts tracking.
• Properly care for shop tools, equipment, and company assets.
• Collaborate with fellow technicians and supervisors to achieve maintenance objectives.

Qualifications of a Fleet Technician:

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Fleet Technician, Automotive Technician, Diesel Mechanic, Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures.
• Experience using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
• Experience with fleet vehicles, commercial vehicles, vans, or light-duty trucks is a plus.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license required.
