Additional responsibilities include warehousing duties, tool and equipment repairs, general shop maintenance, and cleaning of grounds and parking lots.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipmentDiagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issuesManage inventory and order automotive parts and suppliesAssist with general shop maintenance, tool repairs, and facility upkeepMaintain clean and organized shop, grounds, and parking areasComplete required paperwork and maintain accurate service recordsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ years of experience as an auto mechanic or in a related mechanical fieldGeneral automotive knowledge and strong mechanical aptitudeStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordWorking knowledge of automotive systems (engines, transmissions, HVAC, brakes, electrical, etc.)Basic computer proficiencyAbility to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather conditionsWillingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or emergency calls as neededDesired Qualifications3+ years of experience in fleet maintenance or vehicle repairFormal training or certification in vehicle repair (ASE or similar preferred)Fleet maintenance experiencePrior warehouse or inventory management experienceDOT compliance knowledgeForklift certification
