Flex Security Officer (All Shifts)

Location: Walton, KY

Job Type: Flexible | On-Call | Part-Time

Schedule: All Days & All Shifts | Open Availability Required

Possible Shifts:

• 7am-3pm
• 3pm-11pm
• 11pm-7am

Hours: Part-Time hours with the potential for up to 40 hours per week

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Requirements:

• Security experience required
• Flex/on-call security experience preferred
• Must be on-call and available to cover shifts as needed
• Open availability for all shifts, including days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to remain alert, proactive, and dependable across varied assignments

Job Description:

We are seeking experienced and reliable Flex Security Officers to support our Walton, KY facility across all shifts. Flex Officers fill in for call-offs, vacations, and staffing gaps, and must be on-call with fully open availability. This role requires adaptability and readiness to work any shift, including overnight hours. Depending on staffing needs, flex officers may receive part-time hours or up to full-time (40 hours per week).

Flex Security Officers maintain a secure environment by actively monitoring the premises, performing patrols, and responding professionally to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fill in at various posts across all shifts as needed (day, evening, and overnight)
• Monitor surveillance equipment and conduct routine patrols to ensure safety and security
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and disturbances
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity and uphold order
• Inspect doors, windows, and access points to ensure proper security
• Document activities and accurately report incidents or concerns
• Assist in emergency situations when required
• Enforce facility rules, regulations, and safety policies
• Provide excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors

Education Requirements (All)

HS Diploma

GED or H.S. Equivalent

This is a Part-Time position 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Weekends.

Travel is not required
