Flex Security Officer

Valcor Security is a veteran-owned security company protecting residential, corporate, retail and concierge properties across Los Angeles. Our Flex Officers keep every post covered: call-offs, open shifts, special assignments and new-site launches.

Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on experience and availability
Hours: 8 to 40 per week, based on the shifts you accept; hours are not guaranteed
Employment: W-2, paid sick leave, overtime paid when worked

What you will do

• Cover shifts at different client sites across Greater Los Angeles
• Learn and follow the post orders of every site you work, after training on each one
• Arrive on time, in full uniform, ready to take the post
• Patrol, control access, assist visitors and report incidents in our Belfry app
• Answer quickly when the office offers a shift

What you need

• Active California BSIS Guard Card
• Valid California driver's license and an insured vehicle
• Availability for days, nights, weekends and holidays
• A working smartphone and fast response to calls and texts
• A record of showing up: once you accept a shift, we and the client count on you

This role is not for you if you need one fixed site or one fixed weekly schedule.
