      Rochester Regional Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our collaborative Hospital Medicine team at Rochester General Hospital. Whether you're an experienced provider or a highly motivated new graduate, you'll have the opportunity to care for a diverse inpatient population while working alongside supportive physicians and advanced practice providers committed to exceptional patient care.

      Compensation: $100,000 - $150,000

      Key Responsibilities

      • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in hospitalized patients
      • Perform comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
      • Order and interpret diagnostic studies and laboratory testing
      • Prescribe medications and coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams
      • Communicate with patients, families, consulting services, and attending physicians
      • Provide patient education and support throughout hospitalization
      • Complete timely documentation and medical record management

      Preferred

      • Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or related clinical experience
      • Highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply

      BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

      LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: 

      PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)New York State Education Department (NYSED)

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

      M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

      The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
