Assisted Stretch Practitioner (Part-Time)
Who This Role Is For
This is for professionals who take their craft seriously—coaches, trainers, and bodywork practitioners who understand anatomy, value precision, and want to deliver measurable results for clients. If you’re looking for a casual fitness job, this is not it.
Role Overview
You will deliver structured, one-on-one assisted stretching sessions with a strong focus on assessment, technique, and client outcomes. This is a hands-on role requiring confidence, professionalism, and the ability to work with a wide range of bodies and limitations.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Conducting thorough movement and flexibility assessments
- Delivering consistent, high-quality assisted stretch sessions
- Programming with intent—not improvising—based on client needs
- Educating clients clearly and concisely (no overexplaining, no fluff)
- Tracking progress and adjusting programs accordingly
- Maintaining a clean, disciplined, and professional studio environment
- Supporting client retention through results and experience—not pressure
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
- Strong working knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics (non-negotiable)
- One of the following credentials:
- Degree in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, or similar
- Licensed/Certified Massage Therapist or Neuromuscular Therapist
- Certified Personal Trainer (NASM or ACE only)
- Yoga or Pilates certification (comprehensive programs only)
- Physical Therapy Aide experience (minimum 1 year, hands-on)
- At least 1 year of hands-on client experience in a fitness, therapy, or rehab setting
- Ability to confidently handle clients physically (positioning, cueing, manual guidance)
What Will Disqualify You
- No formal training or certification
- “Self-taught” anatomy knowledge without practical application
- Inability to assess movement or explain why you’re doing something
- Poor communication or inability to manage session flow
- Lack of professionalism, hygiene, or reliability
Compensation & Growth
- Part-time: 15–30 hours/week
- Competitive hourly pay + tips + performance-based bonuses
- Fully paid, nationally accredited certification (60+ hours)
- 401(k) (after 1 year) + Paid Time Off
- Clear advancement path: Lead and Master Practitioner roles
What Sets You Apart
- You can quickly identify movement limitations and adapt in real time
- You’re confident working with both general fitness clients and those with restrictions
- You value structure, consistency, and continuous improvement
- You show up prepared, on time, and ready to work—every shift
