We are currently supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer developing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft designed to transform urban mobility.

Summary

The Structures Technician is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, installation, and repair of aircraft structural components within a high-precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and hands-on experience working with aerospace materials and technical documentation.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure all structural assemblies meet strict safety, quality, and performance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble and install aircraft structural components including sheet metal parts, composite panels, frames, and subassemblies

  • Perform drilling, riveting, bonding, sealing, and fastening operations on aerospace structures

  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and technical manuals

  • Measure, cut, and fabricate components to precise tolerances and specifications

  • Perform structural repairs, modifications, and rework as required

  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and aerospace quality standards

  • Conduct in-process inspections and accurately document completed work

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with safety protocols

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing and assembly processes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in aircraft structures, sheet metal work, or aerospace manufacturing

  • Experience working with aluminum, composites, and structural aircraft assemblies

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments

  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality control standards

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and meet tight deadlines

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
