Description
What you will be doing as aFlight Mechanic:
In this role, you willcollaboratealongsideexperiencedFlight Mechanics to ensure multi-engineaircraftare flight-ready for testing and customer delivery. Yourexpertisewill be essential inmaintainingmechanical excellence and safety standards.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Mechanical Installation: Install line shortage items,disassembleand reassemble components, and prepareaircraftfor flight tests and delivery
- System Checks & Adjustments: Perform functional checks, corrections, and adjustments on multi-engine systems to ensureoptimalperformance
- Flight Test Support:Assistin correcting flight test and inspection squawks to meet quality standards
- Sheet Metal Rework: Conduct minor sheet metal rework as needed tomaintainaircraftreliability
- Tool Utilization: Use mechanic hand tools and devices like scales, inclinometers, tensiometers, and pressure gauges to perform precise measurements and adjustments
- Blueprint & Specification Adherence: Follow blueprints, routers, specifications, and checklists tocompletetasks accurately and efficiently
What you need to be successful:
- A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification isrequired
- At least 3-6 months of diversified experience with jet,turbopropor pistonaircraft, including phase inspections, engine troubleshooting, or servicingisrequired
- Knowledge ofaircraftmechanical systems and components is helpful
- An A&P license is helpful
