Summary
The Flight Student Mentor plays a vital role in the student experience at every stage of the training journey. This position is responsible for providing peer-level guidance, encouragement, and accountability to assigned students while helping to foster a campus culture where every student feels supported and connected. From participating in tutoring sessions and identifying at-risk students to helping the management team plan community events and representing the program at open houses, the Flight Student Mentor serves as both a resource and a role model. This individual leads by example - maintaining professional tools like LogTen Pro and LinkedIn - and understands that their engagement directly contributes to the success, retention, and reputation of the program. The ideal candidate is approachable, professionally minded, and genuinely invested in the growth of their fellow students and the broader aviation community.
