Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Required Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program
• Current National Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas
• Minimum 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in one of the following:Family Medicine
  Primary Care Practice
  Urgent Care
• BLS certification from American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) required
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required
• Must provide:Screenshot of active BLS certification

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing chronic disease conditions and quality measurements
• Experience with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS/EHR)
• Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to practice autonomously
• Excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities
• Adaptability and flexibility in a float clinic environment
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative clinical care team
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensures if needed

• This position is considered safety sensitive
• DEA registration may be required during onboarding
• Must be comfortable traveling between assigned clinic locations for float coverage
• Must be able to work independently while collaborating with a clinical care team
• Must be available for weekend rotations and possible holiday coverage

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner seeking a flexible float assignment while providing high-quality primary and urgent care services in an outpatient clinic setting.

Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities

• Provide primary and family medicine evidence-based care, including:Patient assessment
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions
  • Medication management
  • Health counseling and education
  • Care coordination and disposition plannin
  • Perform routine patient examinations and diagnostic testing to support diagnosis and treatment decisions
  • Manage chronic disease conditions while focusing on quality outcomes and preventative care
  • Educate patients regarding healthy lifestyle choices, wellness, screenings, and disease prevention
  • Support services including:Health screenings
  • Behavioral health and wellness
  • Chronic condition management
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to maintain comprehensive treatment plans
  • Complete patient follow-up and maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Handle patient appointments and ensure positive health outcomes
  • Verify insurance information and collect patient payments
  • Assist with clinic operations, including:Opening and closing procedures
    Inventory management
  • Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
