Occupational Medicine Float Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Quad Cities (PRN Days)

Why Providers Love This Role

  • Flexible PRN weekday schedule, pick up scheduled shifts that fit your availability
  • Support multiple employer-based occupational health clinics throughout the Quad Cities rather than being tied to a single location
  • No insurance billing, productivity quotas, or referral pressures
  • Ideal for supplemental income, semi-retired providers, or clinicians seeking occasional weekday shifts
  • Collaborative occupational medicine practice with support from experienced clinical and operational teams
  • Practice evidence-based medicine while making a meaningful impact on employee health and workplace safety

Medcor is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team as an Occupational Medicine Float Provider supporting our employer-based health clinics throughout the Quad Cities (Illinois & Iowa). This role offers the opportunity to practice across multiple clinic locations while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN daytime schedule.

This opportunity is ideal for providers seeking supplemental income, semi-retired clinicians, or those looking for occasional weekday shifts. Rather than being tied to a single clinic, you'll support multiple Medcor locations throughout the Quad Cities, providing variety in your practice while helping ensure exceptional care across our employer-based clinics.

This is a flexible PRN daytime opportunity. Providers typically pick up scheduled shifts in advance to support planned PTO, vacations, continuing education, and occasional clinic coverage throughout the Quad Cities. Whether you're looking to supplement your current practice or simply enjoy practicing medicine on your own schedule, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation: $65.00-$80.00/hour, based on experience, qualifications, and licensure.

At Medcor, we're passionate about caring for our advocates just as much as you're passionate about caring for your patients. Our providers consistently tell us they value the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a collaborative environment without many of the pressures found in traditional healthcare settings.

Why Medcor?

Our providers consistently tell us they appreciate the opportunity to:

  • Spend more time with patients and provide thoughtful, high-quality care.
  • Enjoy predictable daytime schedules that promote work-life balance.
  • Practice without insurance billing, productivity quotas, or referral pressures.
  • Work alongside experienced clinical, operational, and technology teams that provide ongoing support.
  • Deliver evidence-based medicine using established clinical standards and workflows.
  • Make a meaningful difference by improving employee health and workplace safety.
  • Receive competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.
