Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor, you will:
+ Prepare sterile products, including chemotherapy, investigational drugs, and biologics
+ Ensure smooth operations by maintaining inventory, organizing your workspace, and keeping supplies well-stocked and ordered on time
+ Take on various tasks assigned by pharmacy management to help us achieve operational excellence

Schedule: Monday-Friday, variable hours between 7:00am-6:00pm, based on department needs. This role will require you to float and travel to multiple locations.
Hourly Salary Range: $36.49-$48.13 (Union represented, step based salary depending on years of experience)
Bargaining Unit: EX - AFSCME
Qualifications
We're seeking a strong pharmacy technician with:
+ Pharmacy Technician License in the State of California in good standing
+ Available to work various shifts and locations including nights, weekends, and/or holidays
+ Experience compounding non-hazardous and hazardous preparations
+ Ability to maintain drug inventory and usage log and order drugs as needed to maintain an appropriate supply on hand
+ Ability to speak with persons of various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds to obtain information and explain procedures
+ Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with fellow technicians, pharmacists, volunteers and individuals in other work areas, and in a high volume under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions
+ Skill in performing repetitive work according to set procedures and sequence
+ Strong communication, organizational, prioritizing, and follow-through skills
