Floater Teacher (Multi-Classroom Support)
Location: The Learning Experience – Newark, DE
Pay: $16–$17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday


Floater Teacher – Infant, Toddler & Preschool Support


The Learning Experience – Newark is seeking a flexible and dependable Floater Teacher to support classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role provides classroom coverage across age groups while helping maintain a positive and organized learning environment throughout the day.


Key Responsibilities

•  Support classrooms across multiple age groups as needed 
•  Assist with classroom routines, activities, and transitions 
•  Help maintain classroom organization and cleanliness 
•  Provide ratio coverage throughout the center 
•  Support meals, learning centers, and classroom preparation 
•  Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members 
•  Follow Delaware licensing and safety requirements 

Qualifications

•  TECE 1 or TECE 2 required 
•  Prior childcare experience preferred 
•  Comfortable supporting multiple classroom environments 
•  Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented approach 
•  Must meet Delaware childcare licensing requirements
