Sylvania Children’s Center is seeking a warm, flexible, and energetic Floater to join our dedicated team! If you have a passion for working with children of all ages and thrive in a collaborative, supportive environment, we’d love to meet you.
Position: Child Care Floater
Location: Sylvania Children’s Center
Hours: Full-time or part-time (flexible scheduling available)
What You’ll Do:
- Support classrooms across various age groups (infants, toddlers, preschool, pre-K) as needed
- Build positive, nurturing relationships with children, families, and staff
- Assist in implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment
- Be ready to jump in where needed — every day will bring something new!
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth
- Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and schedules
- Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude
- Previous child care experience preferred but not required — we will train the right person!
- Ability to meet state licensing requirements (including background checks and medical forms)
