Floating Resource Teacher (Multi-grade)

The Floating Resource Teacher (Multi-grade) plays a versatile role supporting mixed grade levels by delivering tailored instruction and adapting curricula to meet diverse student needs. This position requires seamless collaboration with a medium-sized team of 4-6 teachers and frequent transitions between classrooms or locations as necessary. The teacher is involved in implementing the existing curriculum and collaborates on curriculum development to enhance learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction across mixed grade levels in a multi-grade classroom setting
• Adapt curriculum materials to address varying student abilities and needs
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain effective classroom management across different learning environments
• Plan and prepare lessons tailored for multi-grade instruction
• Collaborate with a team to support curriculum development and implementation
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities
• Transition between classrooms or locations as required to support diverse learning groups

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
• Strong classroom management skills
