Floating Teacher (331) – Moscow (Early Head Start)
So much fun stuff happens in our classrooms every day! Everyday children are guided through exploration and learning activities, they are provided with healthy meals and snacks and they are encouraged to learn through play. LCECP is seeking a caring person, who is passionate about education, for a Floating Teacher position.
Position Summary:
Our Floating teachers are an important part of the classroom team at LCECP, by supporting all the fun, learning and growing that happens in the classroom. We are looking for someone who likes being part of a team and making a difference in children’s lives. We are looking for a caring person, who enjoys a fast-paced job.
The Floating Teachers will be responsible for:
· Greeting children and families with a smile and a positive attitude
· Serving breakfast/snack and lunch – including picking up of the meals from the kitchen
· Cleaning the meal areas after meals and maintaining a clean classroom
· Under direction from the teacher, participate in play activities

Education Requirement:
· Minimum Certification for Early Childhood Education prefer Associate's degree or higher.
· Experience working with children and families in early childhood settings.
· Must be willing to get further education as needed/required to acquire or maintain skills.
Wage: $17.00 to 20.13 per hour based on education and experience
Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (1/2 hr. unpaid lunch break)
40 hrs. a week/ 52 weeks a year
