About the role As a Visitor Experience Floor Associate at the Brooklyn Museum, you’ll play a vital role in welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth, inclusive, and engaging experience for all who enter our doors. From managing entry to exhibitions and processing admission to staffing Coat Check and providing wayfinding assistance, you’ll be on the front lines of our commitment to hospitality, access, and education. This is a temporary, part-time position for the duration of our special exhibition Art of Manga, running through March 7, 2027. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You’ll be part of a collaborative department dedicated to ensuring every visitor feels seen, supported, and inspired. Responsibilities

Department: Visitor Experience Reports to: Director of Visitor Services Position type: Part-Time, Temporary Salary: $24.00 per hour Union status: Union—UAW Local 2110 FLSA status: Nonexempt Term: Through March 7, 2027 Schedule: 3 days a week for a total of 21 hours per week is the minimum. Saturday and Sunday shifts are mandatory and third day to be discussed/determine. Additional hours may be assigned/requested based on special events at the Museum. The First Saturday events and quarterly training session are mandatory shifts.
