TRC Talent Solutions is looking for a Floor Care & recycling for our client in Austell, GA
Job Details: 2-week assignment only
Pay: $16.00/hr.
Responsibilities:
Operate an Ecoflex SC6000 floor scrubber to clean warehouse floors, production aisles, and designated facility areas
Follow established floor cleaning schedules and respond to spill or debris cleanup requests.
Inspect floors for safety hazards such as spills, debris, or obstructions and report concerns to supervision.
Maintain floor scrubber equipment, including checking water levels, cleaning tanks, charging batteries, and reporting mechanical issues.
Follow all facility traffic rules and operate equipment safely around employees, forklifts, and machinery
Collect plastic scrap and rejected molded parts from designated production areas.
Operate plastic grinding equipment to process scrap plastic into recyclable material.
Sort materials according to recycling requirements and remove contaminants.
Maintain proper labeling and storage of recycled plastic material.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and safety toe footwear as required
Immediately report safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or incidents to supervision.
Follow lockout/tagout and machine safety procedures when performing maintenance or clearing jams.
Assist with maintaining clean and organized work areas throughout the facility.
Support other housekeeping or recycling tasks as assigned by management.
Work cooperatively with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
Ensure grinding equipment is cleaned and maintained according to operational procedures.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to safely operate or learn to operate industrial cleaning equipment and plastic grinding equipment.
Ability to follow safety procedures and written instructions.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
Ability to push and maneuver industrial floor cleaning equipment.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with noise and moving equipment.
Manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Exposure to machinery, forklift traffic, and production equipment.
PPE required in designated areas.
