Floor Crew Senior Lead - Raleigh, NC

Green Front Furniture, a leader in Retail home furnishing, is actively seeking a Floor Crew Senior Lead to oversee daily floor crew operations at our Raleigh, NC, location. This role ensures the smooth handling and placement of merchandise throughout the showroom while managing all shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate has experience in material handling, team leadership, and inventory control, preferably in a retail furniture environment. A strong customer service focus ensures a positive customer experience and a well-maintained showroom.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and direct the floor crew team to ensure efficient merchandise handling and showroom organization.Oversee all receiving and shipping operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Maintain and update inventory control systems (NetSuite preferred) for the entire location.Actively participate in hands-on inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory accuracy and stock movement.Train and mentor floor crew team members, fostering a productive work environment.Provide excellent customer service by assisting with product inquiries and ensuring a well-organized, visually appealing showroom.Effectively communicate at all levels, both in person and through phone and email.Collaborate with leadership to improve workflow efficiency and operational effectiveness.Qualifications:Experience in material handling and supervisory roles required, preferably in a retail furniture environment.Strong working knowledge of online inventory control systems (NetSuite experience strongly preferred).Excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail setting.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Must be available to work weekends.Why Join Us?Comprehensive benefits package.Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing team.Hands-on leadership role with a direct impact on showroom operations.We encourage you to apply if you are a motivated leader with a strong background in inventory control, material handling, and customer service.
