Job Summary

Starling Chevrolet is seeking a results-driven Floor Manager / Assistant Sales Manager to support daily showroom operations, drive sales performance, and help lead a high-performing team. This role is hands-on and focused on desking deals, closing customers, and developing sales consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with customers and sales consultants to close deals on the showroom floor

  • Desk deals and structure transactions to maximize profitability

  • Train, coach, and mentor sales staff to improve performance

  • Assist in managing daily sales operations and team productivity

  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the buying process

  • Collaborate with F&I to finalize deals efficiently

  • Handle escalated customer concerns professionally

  • Monitor CRM activity and ensure proper follow-up processes are being executed

Qualifications

  • Automotive sales experience required; leadership or desking experience preferred

  • Proven ability to close deals and meet/exceed sales goals

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities

  • Experience with CRM systems and desking tools

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Work Schedule

  • Full-time schedule

  • Evenings and weekends required
