We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and hospitality-driven individual to join our team as a full-time Floor Manager for a high-end kosher restaurant in New York City. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced fine dining environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a key leader of the front-of-house team, the Floor Manager will oversee daily service operations, support and manage staff, coordinate reservations and guest flow, and help maintain the elevated atmosphere and standards of the restaurant.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all front-of-house operations during service
  • Lead, supervise, and support waitstaff, hosts, and support team members
  • Ensure exceptional guest experience and maintain high service standards at all times
  • Manage reservations, seating flow, and accommodations for large parties and special events
  • Greet guests and maintain a warm, professional dining atmosphere
  • Handle guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery professionally and efficiently
  • Communicate menu offerings, specials, and restaurant policies clearly to guests and staff
  • Coordinate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth service execution
  • Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout service
  • Conduct inventory checks and assist with purchasing and supply management

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Prior management or supervisory experience strongly preferred

  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt quickly and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with reservation systems and POS systems preferred
  • Knowledge of kosher dining and fine dining service standards is a plus
