The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day service operations during their shift, ensuring exceptional guest experience, strong staff performance, and smooth communication between front-of-house, bar, security, and management. Maintain an elevated, welcoming atmosphere aligned with the Melrose brand
Actively engage with guests, resolve concerns in real time, and ensure guest satisfaction
Handle guest issues, comps, and escalations with professionalism and discretion
Monitor guest flow, table pacing, and crowd dynamics throughout service
Lead by example with a calm, confident, and professional presence
Provide real-time coaching, corrections, and encouragement to staff
Ensure staff adherence to uniform, grooming, and conduct standards
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members
Enforce policies consistently and respectfully
Communicate any incidents, guest feedback, or operational issues to management
Ensure adherence to alcohol service laws and company policies
Monitor intoxication levels and support responsible service practices
Work with security to maintain a safe, respectful environment for guests and staff
