 Position Overview

As a Floor Stock Tech in Food & Nutrition Services, you will play a vital role in ensuring that supplies, materials, and food items are properly received, stored, rotated, and delivered throughout the hospital. Your work directly supports patient care, staff efficiency, and overall service quality.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying organized, and providing excellent service to customers and team members.

 

 What You Will Do

  • Fill orders and issue supplies from stock while ensuring proper rotation to maintain freshness.

  • Move and transport materials to various departments using hand trucks, industrial equipment, or motor vehicles (depending on assignment).

  • Stock, organize, and rotate inventory to maintain accuracy and prevent spoilage.

  • Follow all facility, local, and federal safety requirements.

  • Maintain punctual, regular attendance in alignment with Orlando Health policies and federal standards.

  • Participate in monthly Performance Improvement activities and required in-services.

  • Work collaboratively with customers, employees, and patients to ensure satisfaction with quality, service, and problem resolution.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

  • Follow departmental rules, regulations, and foodborne illness prevention standards.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

 Qualifications

  • Ability to read, understand, and speak basic English.

  • No formal licensure or certification required.

  • Depending on assignment, a valid Florida Driver’s License may be required.
