Position Summary
Under general direction, clean and maintain all carpeted and hard surfaces in the facility, performs preventative maintenance on special floor equipment.
Position Accountabilities
Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, quality assurance program, safety environmental and infection control standards.
Performs cleaning and maintenance of all floors; tile, carpet, and laminate flooring.
Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
Utilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedure.
Uses and maintain equipment properly.
Operates and maintain all equipment correctly and safely.
Observes safety precautions at all times, uses safety signs "wet floors".
Duties and Responsibilities
Strips and waxes floors according to schedule.
Buffs floors.
Requirements
Minimum Education - Less than High School
Minimum Experience - On-the-job-training
Preferred Education - High School or equivalent
Preferred Experience - Previous housekeeping experienceN
