We are seeking a detailed-oriented Floor Tech for a part time opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings
- Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains
- Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Assist with other custodial duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment effectively and safely
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper floor maintenance
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required for the job
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
- Must have reliable transportation and dependable.
