Floor Technician

Professional Maintenance Company is looking to hire a Floor Tech to help keep our customer's facilities clean and up to expected standards. This position will be in Prince George, VA and is a part time opportunity

Essential Functions

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Able to adapt to changing schedules and/or tasks as required
• Ability to work under minimal supervision and have excellent time management skills
• Follow direction of Management to perform tasks in a timely manner
• Performs maintenance of floors to include, cleaning, stripping, waxing, and buffing on a routinely basis.
• Expected to demonstrate proper use of chemicals and other supplies
• Respond to emergency request as needed
• Properly use cleaning equipment including strippers and buffers
• Other cleaning duties as needed.
• We will be taking additional measures with the cleaning to prevent the spread of covid-19. We ask that you wear a face covering while on the job

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Must be willing to go through a background check
• Must be able to reach, stretch, bend and sit for periods at a time
• Must be able to lift, carry and pull items up to 30 lbs.
