Floorcare & Textile Cleaning Technician

A day in this role

At 7:30 am, you’ll roll out with a stocked, company vehicle and a schedule that spans homes and businesses. Your first stop might be a living room with plush carpeting and a beloved area rug; the next, a tile-and-grout lobby or a set of air ducts ready for a deep clean. On-site, you’ll confirm the estimate, set expectations, answer questions, and deliver meticulous results. Before you leave, you’ll offer helpful add-on services, recommend retail-grade cleaning products, and close out the job on a handheld device—processing payment and issuing the invoice. Then it’s on to the next client, keeping your vehicle tidy and equipment running smoothly along the way.

What you’ll clean

• Carpet, upholstery, and area rugs
• Hard surfaces: hardwood, tile & grout, stone, sheet vinyl, LVT/LVP, and tile countertops
• Air ducts

Core responsibilities

• Evaluate job sites and confirm pricing with customers
• Set clear expectations and deliver an exceptional service experience
• Suggest additional services and appropriate retail cleaning products
• Create invoices on a handheld device and take payments
• Keep the company vehicle clean and in good working order

Compensation & benefits

• $21 hourly base pay + commission on additional sales/services
• Quarterly raises

Training & growth

• 3–5 weeks of paid, hands-on training
• Certification training covered by the company

What it takes

• Lift 50 lbs.; kneel, bend, and stand for long periods
• Reliable, customer-first communicator with a professional, ethical approach
• Personable and outgoing demeanor
• Basic English speaking, reading, and writing
• Available some Saturdays on a rotating schedule

Preferred

• Bilingual in Spanish & English
• Mechanically inclined

Schedule

7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday–Friday, plus rotating Saturdays

Pay

$21.00 to start, with quarterly raises + commission

Requirements

• No significant allergies to pets or cleaning materials
• Clean driving record
• Preferred annual Covid & Flu Boosters

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
