You wont sit behind a desk waiting for foot traffic - youll run appointments from our Mobile Flooring Showroom, build relationships with trade partners and remodelers, and grow a pipeline that pays you back year after year.

Floor Coverings International of Columbus is hiring a Flooring Sales Consultant to run in-home appointments using our Mobile Flooring Showroom - we roll the entire showroom right up to the customers driveway. You show up, build the relationship, walk them through their options, and close the deal on the spot. Every closed sale drives your commission, and theres no cap on what you can earn.

Youll start with a $50,000 forgivable draw and a steady stream of company-generated leads to get you earning from day one. But the reps who hit $100K and beyond dont stop there - they build a network of trade partners, remodelers, past customers, and local connections that compounds their income year over year. If youre a natural closer who also knows how to work a room and go get business rather than wait for it, this role rewards that hustle directly.

What Youll Do

• Run in-home sales consultations with pre-set, warm leads
• Present flooring options and pricing, and close on the spot
• Recommend solutions that fit the customers style, needs, and budget
• Manage your pipeline - proposals, follow-ups, next steps
• Hand off closed projects to our install team for a seamless customer experience
• Build referral relationships with past customers, trade partners, remodelers, and local networking groups
• Prospect and develop new opportunities

What Success Looks Like

• $100K+ total earnings in year one
• 45%+ close rate on scheduled appointments
• Consistent 5-star customer reviews
• A growing referral and repeat-business pipeline that pushes earnings past $100K in the first year and beyond

What Were Looking For

• 2+ years of outside sales, direct sales, or in-home sales experience (flooring, home improvement, or construction a plus)
• A track record of closing - comfortable asking for the sale and handling objections
• Strong communicator who builds trust fast with strangers
• Comfortable with basic math and estimating
• Self-motivated and organized enough to manage your own schedule and pipeline
• Valid drivers license

Compensation & Benefits

How you get to $100K+: a $50,000 forgivable draw gives you a stable floor while you ramp up, and uncapped commission means every sale you close after that adds directly to your income - with no ceiling.
