    • Send and retrieve FTD, Teleflora, and computer orders; maintain confidentiality on all orders placed including sender, recipient, order details, and cost

    • Review floral products for freshness and anticipate daily product needs for the department

    • Water plants and maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the department including coolers, counters, floors, and sinks

    • Prepare the daily delivery list and deliver orders as needed

    • Unload trucks, place product in appropriate storage areas, check in product, put product away, and process invoices as needed

    • Run the department register, receive payment, and make change as applicable

    • Remove trash in a timely manner and assist with general department upkeep

    • Answer the phone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service to customers who call

    • Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all department and company guidelines

    • Pitch in with other tasks or special projects as they come up

    • Solve practical problems and follow instructions carefully in a fast-paced environment

    • Apply math skills including fractions, decimals, and percentages in day-to-day tasks

    • Communicate clearly with customers and co-workers and contribute positively to the team
