A day in the life

You start your morning reviewing a blueprint and a set of verbal build notes. Your workstation is stocked with fittings, tubing, switches, and the hand and power tools you prefer. By late morning, you’ve mounted pumps, meters, reels, and filters to a frame or skid, routing piping with clean bends and tidy terminations. After lunch, you wire terminals inside an electrical enclosure, double-check circuits against the print, then move to QC—pressurizing, powering, and testing. You wrap the day documenting results and making small adjustments so the system leaves the floor meeting spec and safety standards.

What you’ll build

• Liquid handling and fluid purification systems assembled on frames, skids, or similar platforms.
• Integrated control panels including electrical enclosures, terminals, and circuits.
• Piping assemblies using pumps, meters, reels, filters, fittings, tubing, and switches.

How you’ll do it

• Interpret blueprints and follow verbal instructions to execute mechanical assembly, piping, electrical wiring, and system testing.
• Use and maintain both powered and non-powered hand tools safely and effectively.
• Complete QC forms, verify results, and perform adjustments to achieve the required level of quality.
• Work with a safety-first mindset in every task.

What you bring

• Experience with hand and power tools; metal fabrication and standard wiring processes are a plus.
• Working knowledge of shop math; confident with measuring tools and driven by mechanical aptitude.
• Reliable transportation and the ability to work the required schedule.
• High school diploma or GED (relevant work experience may substitute for formal education).
