Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection

Our client, a precision sheet-metal manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection, to join their winning team in Southbridge.

Our candidate of choice will be responsible for assisting with initial certifications of the FPI line, designing the proper techniques, and completing the proper paperwork to maintain certifications, as well as training.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• Conduct thorough fluorescent penetrant inspections to identify surface defects in materials and components.
• Utilize non-destructive testing methods to ensure quality and compliance with ASME codes and standards.
• Analyze inspection data and maintain accurate records for quality assurance purposes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions based on inspection findings.
• Utilize hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers for precise evaluations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
