Based in Louisville, KY (40219), we’re looking for a Fabricator who lives for accuracy, safety, and results. If you read a blueprint like a roadmap and take pride in immaculate welds, this role is for you.
What you’ll tackle
- Produce high‑quality welds using flux‑cored arc processes across multiple materials.
- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to set up and execute jobs.
- Perform routine upkeep on welding gear to ensure consistent, reliable performance.
- Inspect finished welds and make precise corrections to meet spec and quality metrics.
- Coordinate with your crew to maintain throughput and meet deadlines.
- Keep your area organized and safe, adhering to all safety procedures.
- Engage in training to sharpen techniques and expand knowledge.
Do you have the background?
- High school diploma/GED; welding program completion preferred.
- Proven experience with FCAW or similar welding roles.
- Working knowledge of welding methods, materials behavior, and shop safety.
- Strong blueprint and technical document literacy.
- Detail‑driven, quality‑focused approach to every weld.
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently or with a team.
- Certification in welding is a plus.
