Position: TAM Case Specialist
Position type: 6+ month temporary contract
Work Location: Bloomfield, CT (Hybrid)
Client: Direct-client
Pay rate: $20/h on W2 without benefits
Job Responsibilities
Daily Duties/Responsibilities:
· Handle, review, and administer Family & Medical Leave Act / and or Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) claims and adhere to federal and state regulatory and/or company plan requirements. Establish FMLA/ADA workflow procedures, evaluate against appropriate leave plans and make initial claim decisions.
· Complete eligibility decisions during intake call, gather pertinent data, when necessary, from employee or other supporting systems as well as perform leave-ups as required, including recertification of health condition, intermittent claim tracking, RTW confirmation, etc.
· Update systems to accurately reflect leave status and ensure appropriate diary documentation exists.

Qualifications
Required skills:
· High school diploma.
· One year of experience in Absence Management Claims.
· Experience and strong customer satisfaction focus and attention to detail. A strong understanding of the ADA/AMS process and background as to what’s required
· Strong customer service skills are a must.
Desired skills:
· Bachelor’s degree.
· Three to five years of FMLA/ADA claims knowledge of process and procedures.
