Job Description

Job Title: FMOS/ Ops Co Op Date: April 2026

Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated FMOS Co-Op to join our team on-site for 3-4 months, focusing on continuous improvement in operations. You will gain hands-on experience supporting projects that enhance efficiency, optimize workflows, and improve production processes. The ideal candidate embodies FMD's core values: Integrity, Velocity, and Teamwork, and demonstrates a strong understanding of operational processes and continuous improvement principles.

Responsibilities

• Apply problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to support operational projects and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of improvement initiatives.
• Exhibit strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain focus on project goals.
• Analyze workflows and demonstrate an understanding of operational efficiency and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Participate in hands-on activities to execute and sustain improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of process analysis tools or software is a plus.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with others.
• Demonstrates a proactive, adaptable, and learning-oriented mindset.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvement principles is preferred.
• Must work on-site during the co-op term.
